Eva Dubin (also known as Eva Andersson-Dubin) is a Swedish-born physician, former Miss Sweden, and the wife of hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin. She maintains one of the most extensive correspondences in Jeffrey Epstein's archive, with 7,100 emails spanning from 1991 to 2023. The archive documents a decades-long personal friendship that continued through Epstein's 2008 conviction and his 2019 arrest. Dubin previously dated Epstein before marrying Glenn Dubin, and the couple remained close to Epstein, hosting him for holidays, arranging theater tickets and travel through his staff, and using his properties and drivers for personal errands. The correspondence reveals frequent coordination between their households, with Dubin appearing in Virginia Giuffre's 2015 discovery requests as someone whose communications with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were sought. In 2020, federal prosecutors investigating Epstein's network subpoenaed documents related to the Dubin children.
Eva Dubin founded the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center after her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2002. She and her husband donated $16 million to establish the comprehensive cancer treatment facility, which opened in 2011. The archive documents Epstein's involvement in promoting the center and facilitating art donations to Mount Sinai through Dubin's coordination.
Background#
Eva Andersson-Dubin is a board-certified internist who competed as Miss Sweden and was a finalist in the Miss Universe pageant. She worked as an international model for the Ford agency before pursuing medicine, completing her medical education at the Karolinska Institute School of Medicine in Stockholm and UCLA School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
She is married to Glenn Dubin, co-founder and former CEO of Highbridge Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund acquired by J.P. Morgan Chase. The couple has three children: Jordan, Celina, and Maya. Glenn Dubin serves on the Mount Sinai Board of Trustees and was a founding board member of the Robin Hood Foundation.
In 2002, at age 44, Eva Dubin was diagnosed with Stage One breast cancer. Following treatment, she and her husband donated $16 million and helped raise another $7.4 million to establish the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center, which opened in 2011. The 15,000-square-foot comprehensive facility provides integrated breast cancer care, including medical oncology, surgery, radiology, radiation, psychosocial support, and holistic therapies.
Eva Dubin dated Jeffrey Epstein before her marriage to Glenn Dubin. The relationship transitioned to friendship, and the Dubins maintained close ties to Epstein for decades. In 2010, Glenn Dubin provided an affidavit in support of Epstein's investment interests, describing him as "both a personal friend of mine and a major client of my firm, Highbridge Capital Corporation."
In November 2020, the FBI briefing documents note that "Epstein Prosecutors Seek Documents Related To Dubin's Children," indicating ongoing federal investigative interest in the family's connection to Epstein's network.
Correspondence with Epstein#
Eva Dubin's correspondence with Epstein spans 32 years, from 1991 to 2023, encompassing 7,100 emails across 5,490 threads. She sent 4,155 emails and received 2,813, making her one of the most frequent correspondents in Epstein's archive.
The emails document an intimate, enduring friendship that persisted through Epstein's legal troubles. In July 2008, while Epstein was serving his sentence following the 2008 Florida plea deal, Eva wrote expressing concern about his wellbeing and shared family travel updates from Tanzania: "Thinking about you a lot. Hope you are OK. Barcelona was superb. Arrived in Tanzania this morning...Saw lions and zebras. Kids are having a very good time". She added: "Is anyone mean to you?? I read what the judge said to you in the court hearing. She is for sure constipated and without sex!!".
In December 2018, amid renewed media scrutiny of Epstein, a friend emailed Eva expressing sympathy: "I just want to say how sorry I am about whatever is going on with Jeffrey right now...It must be very painful to be dragged through the mud in such an ugly way". Eva responded: "Jeff is ok... thick skin .... He really ignores most of it as do most of his friends", forwarding the exchange to Epstein with the message "thx. oy."
The correspondence reveals frequent household coordination. Eva regularly borrowed Epstein's drivers for her daughters' transportation needs, including taking Maya and Celina to the Swedish Consulate and picking them up from school. In November 2011, she asked: "Any chance Jojo could take Manato to school tomorrow morning at 7:30?". Epstein's staff coordinated these arrangements.
Eva and her family spent holidays at Epstein's properties. In November 2009, her assistant Kimberly Feierstein inquired: "Eva and family were thinking of going to Jeffrey's house for thanksgiving dinner...Is this plan OK? If not Eva said they could come on Friday for lunch or dinner instead". Epstein responded accommodating either day.
Epstein facilitated professional favors for Eva. In April 2019, Eva recommended two doctors (Dan Adler and Michael Krumholz) when Lesley Groff asked for gastroenterologist recommendations. In August 2014, Eva forwarded a resume from "Swedish model looking for job as an assistant" to Epstein, who instructed his staff to "see if she can stop by".
Eva coordinated art donations from Epstein to Mount Sinai. In March 2015, she wrote to Mount Sinai administrator Jonathan Kyriacou: "We have another art donation. Could you please help with where it should be delivered today or tomorrow", with Epstein's staff handling the delivery of three paintings.
The correspondence includes mundane domestic exchanges. Eva frequently requested Epstein's chef's muffins, writing in February 2019: "I ran out of muffins this morning and I do not know how I will survive without them! Do you have any ideas of how I can get more?". Epstein's staff arranged deliveries to her apartment.
Epstein provided tickets and shopping access. In June 2017, his staff secured four house seats to the Broadway play "Oslo" for Eva. In June 2013, Epstein's assistant wrote to Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: "Jeffrey says he would like to take you and possibly, Eva Dubin, shopping today at Prada".
The emails reveal medical consultations. In January 2019, Karyna Shuliak wrote to Eva seeking advice about a friend from Belarus with breast cancer, noting "Jeffrey suggested that I contact you". Eva offered to help arrange medical consultations.
In 2010, Eva used Epstein's Paris apartment for family travel. In June 2018, Lesley Groff confirmed arrangements for Eva to stay in Epstein's Paris apartment and coordinated airport pickup with Epstein's driver Valdson.

Document References#
Eva Dubin and her husband Glenn appear in Virginia Giuffre's 2015 defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell. Document Request No. 6 in Plaintiff's First Request for Production of Documents specifically seeks "All documents relating to communications with any of the following individuals from 1999-present: Emmy Taylor, Sarah Kellen, Eva Dubin, Glen Dubin, Jean Luc Brunel, and Nadia Marcinkova." This places Eva Dubin among individuals whose communications with Maxwell and Epstein were deemed relevant to Giuffre's allegations of sexual trafficking.
Glenn Dubin provided a December 2009 Affidavit in arbitration proceedings involving Epstein's investment in the D.B. Zwirn Fund. The affidavit describes Epstein as "both a personal friend of mine and a major client of my firm, Highbridge Capital Corporation," detailing Epstein's $80 million investment through Financial Trust Company, Inc., and subsequent disputes over withdrawal requests. The document establishes the Dubins' dual personal and professional relationship with Epstein.
An FBI briefing dated November 24, 2020, reports: "Epstein Prosecutors Seek Documents Related To Dubin's Children." This indicates federal prosecutors investigating Epstein's network subpoenaed records concerning the Dubin children as part of the criminal investigation following Epstein's 2019 arrest.
