Lawrence Paul Visoski Jr. served as Jeffrey Epstein's chief pilot for nearly three decades, from 1991 to 2019, managing a fleet of private aircraft including a Gulfstream IV, a Boeing 727 nicknamed the "Lolita Express," and multiple helicopters. The archive documents 39,036 emails involving Visoski, reflecting his central role in coordinating Epstein's global travel and property logistics. In November 2021 testimony at Ghislaine Maxwell's federal sex trafficking trial, Visoski described Maxwell as "Number 2" in Epstein's hierarchy, with Epstein as "the big Number 1." Visoski testified that he flew numerous high-profile passengers, including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Prince Andrew, but claimed he never witnessed sexual activity on any flights and was unaware of minors traveling without parents.
Beyond his aviation duties, Visoski received substantial financial support from Epstein. Records show Epstein paid at least $106,654 in tuition for Visoski's daughter Taylor at Syracuse University between 2009 and 2012, and additional amounts for another daughter at Millsaps College. Visoski's daughter Taylor married at Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico in June 2017. Visoski also served as manager of Hyperion Air LLC, a U.S. Virgin Islands entity established in 2012 that held Epstein's helicopter assets, with Visoski listed as a member alongside Epstein.
Background#
Visoski worked as a professional pilot before joining Epstein's operation in the early 1990s. Unlike other pilots such as Dave Rodgers and Bill Hammond who flew occasionally for Epstein, Visoski became the primary, constant aviator, managing Epstein's entire aviation fleet. He piloted multiple aircraft including a Gulfstream IV (later a Gulfstream G550), a Boeing 727-31, and various helicopters including a Bell 430 and Sikorsky S-76C++ models. Visoski's email aliases in the archive include "lvjet," reflecting his aviation role.
Court documents from civil litigation against Epstein identify Visoski as one of several Epstein employees whose legal representation was paid for by Epstein, alongside Sarah Kellen, Ghislaine Maxwell, Nadia Marcinkova, and others. In a 2010 court filing, attorneys for an Epstein victim noted that "it was nearly impossible to take a deposition of someone that would have helpful information that was not represented [by] an attorney paid for by Epstein," listing Visoski among those receiving such representation.
Visoski's 2021 trial testimony described his longstanding relationship with both Epstein and Maxwell. He testified that Maxwell coordinated travel plans with him frequently and handled matters that were "not business related" for Epstein. Visoski stated that the cockpit door was always closed during flights, making it impossible to see activities in the passenger cabin. When asked directly whether he ever saw Epstein engage in sex acts with underage girls, Visoski responded "Absolutely not".
Correspondence with Epstein#
The archive contains extensive operational correspondence between Visoski and Epstein spanning nearly three decades. Emails reveal Visoski's role managing complex aviation logistics, coordinating flight schedules, arranging helicopter demonstrations, overseeing aircraft purchases and maintenance, and facilitating travel between Epstein's properties in Manhattan, Palm Beach, the U.S. Virgin Islands, New Mexico, and Paris.
Visoski regularly updated Epstein on flight operations and crew scheduling. In an October 2023 email, Visoski informed Epstein he was completing Bell helicopter training and coordinating the installation of floats, noting weather conditions around San Juan and his plan to fly a Bell 407 to St. Thomas. Visoski also managed other pilots' schedules, noting that co-pilot Dave was requesting vacation June 17-19 and suggesting he could use "M as co-pilot in a 'worse case' scenario" if Epstein approved, remarking that "her instrument knowledge was impressive."
Flight coordination emails show the routine nature of Visoski's work. In May 2017, Visoski sent a brief update: "N212JE / GIV / STT-TEB / Departed STT at 4:40pm / Arrival Meridean Teterboro today 8:15pm estimate / I believe they PreCleared Customs in STT today." In June 2017, he arranged ground transportation for Epstein's arrival, writing: "I have CARosa Car service set up to pick up Jeffrey upon arrival tomorrow at Jet Aviation at 11 AM - I would expect him at 71st by 11:45 AM."
Helicopter acquisitions were a recurring focus. In June 2019, Visoski coordinated an S76D demonstration flight for Epstein, writing to Epstein with attorneys Darren Indyke and Rich Kahn copied: "Jeanette Eaton Will be the sales rep for Sikorsky on your demo flight tomorrow... Darren Rothell is meeting me at AAG tomorrow for the S76C4.+ acceptance flight at 11am. Also, Jeanette has arranged for a 10min S76D demo ride for Darren and I tomorrow at AAG 9:30am." The correspondence shows Visoski's role extended beyond piloting to managing aircraft procurement valued in the millions of dollars.
Aircraft registration documents handled by Visoski used shell companies. When asked for an address for a Sikorsky pricing letter, Visoski provided: "Hyperion Air, LLC / 6100 Red Hook QB3 / St Thomas USVI 00802." An August 2021 FBI investigation into Epstein's aviation assets found that Visoski signed aircraft registration documents as "Manager" of both Plan D LLC and Hyperion Air LLC, with Epstein listed as a member. Records show Visoski sold Epstein's Gulfstream G550 (N212JE) on behalf of Plan D LLC to a California entity in December 2020, more than a year after Epstein's death.
The archive also reveals Visoski's personal relationship with Epstein. Email schedules from Lesley Groff note "Larry Visoski on holiday May 30-June 5 for his daughter's wedding" in 2017. That wedding took place at Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico on June 3, 2017. Financial records show Epstein wrote checks totaling over $106,000 to Syracuse University between 2009 and 2012 for tuition for Visoski's daughter Taylor, who graduated from the Newhouse School in 2013. In a July 2012 email, Visoski requested a loan from Epstein for $43,584 to cover tuition for two daughters, one at Millsaps College and one at Syracuse University.
Routine logistical emails occasionally reference Epstein's properties. Visoski coordinated maintenance issues, including water problems at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse where Groff noted "Larry Visoski, our pilot, stayed in 10N recently and he is the one who said it took 10 minutes for the water to come out clear." Short messages from Epstein to Visoski included travel updates like "Maybe lsj tonight" (referring to Little St. James) and "We are delayed. Ask Tony if his friend is working and can meet me in the second room".
Connections#
Visoski's most frequent correspondence was with Epstein directly (20,511 shared emails), followed by Lesley Groff (5,479 emails), who managed Epstein's Manhattan office and coordinated schedules. Visoski worked closely with Rich Kahn (3,582 emails) and Darren Indyke (2,226 emails), Epstein's attorneys and estate co-executors who were involved in aircraft purchases and corporate matters.
Visoski corresponded extensively with household and property staff, including Karyna Shuliak (1,419 emails), Jojo Fontanilla (1,032 emails), Ann Rodriguez (1,016 emails), and Merwin dela cruz (520 emails). These emails coordinated arrivals, departures, and ground transportation at various properties.
Aviation industry contacts included Eric Roth (1,277 emails), who ran International Jet Interiors and completed interior work on Epstein's aircraft. Correspondence shows Visoski coordinated with Sikorsky representatives on helicopter acquisitions and maintenance. Other pilots including Dave Rodgers (332 emails) and Jay Massar (253 emails) appear in scheduling coordination.
Visoski also corresponded with Janusz Banasiak (492 emails), Epstein's house manager, and Brice Gordon (523 emails), who managed boats and watercraft at Epstein's properties. The breadth of Visoski's correspondence reflects his role as a key operational coordinator across Epstein's entire enterprise.

Visoski appears prominently in court documents related to Epstein's criminal case and subsequent civil litigation. Flight logs filed in Giuffre v. Maxwell detail hundreds of flights from 2003, listing passengers and destinations including Paris, Brussels, Oslo, Hong Kong, Beijing, and numerous trips between Epstein's U.S. properties. The logs show flights carrying President Bill Clinton, along with notations of other passengers designated by initials including "AM" (believed to be Andrew Maxwell), "SK" (Sarah Kellen), "GM" (Ghislaine Maxwell), and others.
In M.J. v. Epstein, a 2010 civil complaint filed in the Southern District of Florida, court filings describe Epstein's organizational structure: "Defendant Epstein devised a complex plan, scheme and criminal enterprise to gain access to countless underage minor females... His enterprise operated with a definite hierarchal structure with his various employees/assistants and associates, including Defendant Sarah Kellen, Jean Luc Brunel, Ghislaine Maxwell, Leslie Groff, Adriana Ross, Nadia Marcinkova, various housekeepers, butlers and pilots, performing their respective roles to ensure the goals of the enterprise." A subsequent response brief in the same case states: "Edwards was also informed that Epstein paid for not only his representation during the civil process but also paid for legal representation for Sarah Kellen (Epstein's executive assistant and procurer of girls for him to abuse), Larry Visoski (Epstein's personal pilot), Dave Rogers (Epstein's personal pilot), Larry Harrison (Epstein's personal pilot)," and others.
The U.S. Virgin Islands government's 2020 lawsuit against Epstein's estate identifies Hyperion Air LLC as one of several entities "Epstein created to shield his assets from public scrutiny." The complaint alleges that "Epstein used [aircraft registered to Hyperion Air LLC] to traffic and transport young women and underage girls to the Virgin Islands." Court filings note that "Jeffrey Epstein is a manager/member of Hyperion Air, LLC, along with his pilot, Larry Visoski."
DOJ correspondence from an August-September 2021 FBI investigation traces ownership of multiple aircraft through entities managed by Visoski. For the Gulfstream G550 (N212JE), records show: "Per the Plan D LLC, statement in support of registering aircraft that was submitted to the FAA, Jeffrey E. EPSTEIN was a member and VISOSKI was the manager... On August 14, 2019 I was told that N212JE was owned by Jeffrey Epstein and was in a hangar at the Cobb County airport (KRYY) in Kennesaw, Georgia." For the Sikorsky helicopter (N722JE), records show transfers through "Air Ghislaine Inc" with "Larry VISOSKI, he signed as Director of Aviation," then to "Freedom Air International Inc." with Darren Indyke signing as Vice President, and finally to "Hyperion Air LLC" in June 2019 with "Lawrence P. VISOSKI Jr., he signed as Manager."
Visoski's 2021 testimony transcript in United States v. Maxwell provided detailed accounts of his employment, flight operations, and observations of Epstein's properties and associates, forming a key part of the prosecution's case establishing Maxwell's role in Epstein's organization.
Visits to Epstein Properties#
The archive documents extensive coordination of flights to and from Epstein's various properties, though it primarily reflects Visoski's role as pilot rather than guest:
Manhattan townhouse (9 East 71st Street): Visoski regularly flew Epstein to and from Teterboro Airport serving Manhattan. A January 2013 email notes Visoski "stayed in 10N recently" at the townhouse when water issues were being addressed. Multiple email schedules reference Visoski's presence at "301" (an apparent reference to apartment units in or near the townhouse) for maintenance coordination. An August 2017 email arranged car service to pick up Epstein "at Jet Aviation at 11 AM - I would expect him at 71st by 11:45 AM."
Palm Beach residence (358 El Brillo Way): Flight logs show hundreds of trips between Palm Beach (PBI) and other locations. A June 2017 email notes "Atlantic aviation PBI" as Epstein's departure point for San Diego. The archive contains numerous references to "PBI" and "PB" in flight coordination.
Little St. James island, U.S. Virgin Islands: Extensive correspondence references "STT" (St. Thomas airport, Cyril E. King Airport) and "TIST" as departure and arrival points serving the island. A May 2017 email describes a return flight "STT-TEB / Departed STT at 4:40pm." An October 2023 message from Epstein to Visoski states "Maybe lsj tonight", using apparent shorthand for Little St. James. Flight logs document regular helicopter flights between St. Thomas and the island. Visoski provided his business address as Hyperion Air LLC at "6100 Red Hook QB3 / St Thomas USVI 00802" for aircraft registration purposes.
Zorro Ranch, New Mexico: Visoski's daughter Taylor married Brendan Cusack at the ranch on June 3, 2017. Flight logs reference trips to "SAF" (Santa Fe) near the 7,600-acre property. Another daughter reportedly got engaged at the ranch.
Paris apartment: Flight logs document international flights including trips to Paris (LFPB - Le Bourget Airport). A June 2019 email notes flight crew "Flying Jeffrey to Paris tomorrow morning" with a hoverboard loaded onto the plane. FBI records show N212JE operated from Paris to Teterboro on July 7, 2019.
